What is live booting?

Jun 20 2024

"Live booting is the process of running an operating system from a removable media, such as a USB drive, without installing it on a computer's hard drive. This allows you to try out the operating system without making any changes to your computer's existing setup. Live booting is commonly used for testing out new operating systems, troubleshooting computer problems, and accessing a secure and private environment" -GitHub Copilot (the orginial developer one).

Please note that unless you are running your network traffic through something like tor, you can still be tracked by websites you visit through your IP address.
